TERMS OF SERVICE

Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PawSafe website and directory service located at pawsafe.com (“PawSafe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using PawSafe, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

PawSafe is a pet care directory service. We connect pet owners with independent pet care providers. We do not employ, train, supervise, or control any provider listed on the platform.

Definitions

• “Pet Owner” or “User” means any person who uses PawSafe to search for or contact pet care providers.
• “Provider” means any individual or business listed on PawSafe who offers pet care services.
• “Services” means the PawSafe directory platform, website, and any related tools or features.
• “Listing” means a provider’s profile page on PawSafe.
• “Content” means any text, images, reviews, information, or other material submitted to or displayed on PawSafe.

PawSafe is a Directory Only

PawSafe operates as an information directory. We provide a platform for independent pet care providers to advertise their services and for pet owners to discover them.

PawSafe does not:

• Employ, hire, or supervise any provider listed on the platform
• Set the prices, terms, or conditions of any pet care arrangement
• Participate in, facilitate, or mediate any transaction between a pet owner and a provider
• Guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any provider or their services
• Independently verify all claims made by providers in their listings

Any arrangement made between a pet owner and a provider through PawSafe is a direct agreement between those two parties. PawSafe is not a party to that agreement.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PawSafe. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

User Conduct

When using PawSafe, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, reviews, or enquiries
• Harass, threaten, or harm any provider or other user
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce listings or content without our written permission
• Attempt to circumvent or interfere with the platform’s functionality or security
• Submit spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or automated enquiries
• Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to remove any content, block any user, or terminate access to PawSafe at our sole discretion for violation of these Terms or for any other reason.

Provider Listings

Listings on PawSafe may include information sourced from publicly available records, provider-submitted information, or both. PawSafe does not independently verify all claims made in listings, including but not limited to credentials, experience, insurance status, or background check results.

Ratings and review counts displayed on listings may be manually assigned by PawSafe editorial staff based on publicly available information, or submitted by users. All ratings are approximate and indicative only.

PawSafe reserves the right to add, modify, or remove any listing at any time without notice.

Contact Forms & Communications

PawSafe may provide contact forms that route enquiries to providers on your behalf. By submitting a contact form, you consent to your message and contact details being shared with the relevant provider. PawSafe may also retain a copy of submitted enquiries for platform improvement and fraud prevention purposes.

PawSafe is not responsible for the content of communications between pet owners and providers, or for any outcomes resulting from those communications.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PawSafe is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We do not warrant that any provider listed on PawSafe is qualified, licensed, insured, experienced, trustworthy, or suitable for your specific needs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PawSafe and its owners, operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage to any pet arising from services arranged through PawSafe
• Any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss arising from your use of the platform or from engaging a provider found through PawSafe
• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of PawSafe
• The conduct, actions, or omissions of any provider listed on the platform

In no event shall PawSafe’s total liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to PawSafe in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PawSafe and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your interaction with any provider; or (d) any content you submit to PawSafe.

Intellectual Property

All content on PawSafe — including the PawSafe name, logo, design, and original written content — is owned by or licensed to PawSafe and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from PawSafe content without our express written permission.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of PawSafe after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of PawSafe shall be resolved in accordance with applicable US federal and state law.
